AA Cheng is a web-based digital media artist with a background rooted in Chinese internetculture. Currently pursuing a degree in experimental animation at CalArts, Cheng's upbringingwas characterized by an immersion in the digital realm. Unbound by the constraints of name, physical form, or gender, she embraced her identity as a complete narrative of the internet. Communication for Cheng occurs solely through the exchange of consciousness and thoughts, eschewing any external intermediaries.
Currently she is channeling her consciousness on the ground, intervening in the world, andreflecting its transformation in her works. Over the past decade, Cheng has been exploring therealm of lnternet art, and will pursuit the new possibilities and push the limits of her artisticinnovation.
